What is an estimate book?
An estimate book, also called a quote book or quotation pad, is a book of printed forms tradespeople use to write up a price for a job. You fill in the customer's details, describe the work, list materials and labour, and keep a record of every quote in one place.
Is this the same as a quote book or job sheet book?
Yes. Different trades call them estimate books, quote books, quotation pads or job sheet books. Ours combine all of these: the quote form, the materials list and a labour time and notes page for each job.
Which book should I buy?
