A history of Pixel 8 Group Shoots. I thought it would be great to revisit those 12 years of fun times.

The very first Group Shoot October 2010

Although it was a group shoot it was more of a training session how to use lighting to get the best results under many different conditions.
I did discover that the first shoot had become a bit of a bun fight with not all photographers beaing able to get the pictures they wanted.
It was after that all group shoots to follow were organised for the photographers to work in groups of three. And to this day I can say some great friendships were made that are still going strong.
From now on the group shoots became famous and in fact I was often told
If 
organised Group shoots they would be as good as Pixel 8!
The next group shoot was the following February 2011.

It was pretty cold but I had arranged for all the locations across the week end to be inside. From a pub to a Gym including a swimming pool. It was pretty amazing time all round.

A fantastic location which ticked all the boxes for everyone that came! Six fabulous enthusiastic models and lots of different locations to shoot in made the Sunday extra special.
It wasn't too long to wait until the biggest yet! December 2011

It was a huge industrial unit which we filled with fabulous props plus 5 gorgeous models and which later were supplimented with 2 more lovely brunettes.
In April 2012 I organised the shoot to be in a stables and surrounding fields.

6 models and 18 very keen photographers. Working in groups of three each group worked with each model and in different locations. A great day was had by all. It did rain on and off, but it simply added to the fun.
Our final group shoot was held in a large garage complex.

Location shoot 9th September 2012 The pictures reflect the wonderful atmosphere from the morning to the end of the day. Yes it was quite late in a miserable summer, but the weather was fantastic and all the photographers told me it was the very best one yet!
